Walk-in Vaults Features and Benefits

Residential Walk-In Vaults combine the use of our Modular Vault Systems and Vault Doors product line for use in construction for the residential market. Walk-in safes can be built to your exacting standards and will carry the UL Listed designations.

Underwriters Laboratories perform attack tests on vault panels to ensure that they meet the minimum requirements for burglary resistance. Panels are randomly tested to ensure that the highest standards and consistency are maintained. Vault door and modular vault panel classifications :

• U.L. Class M – One-Quarter Hour
• U.L. Class 1 – One-Half Hour
• U.L. Class 2 – One Hour
• U.L. Class 3 – Two Hour

UL Rated Burglary Modular Vault Rooms

American Vault Modular Panels are constructed with a combination of high-strength concrete and formed steel to create a high-security protection. This aggregate and steel design creates close dimensional tolerances to ensure a secure and form fitting installation.

UL Rated Burglary Modular Vault Doors

American Vault Modular Vault Doors are designed to coincide with the American Vault Modular System. Built with the same materials and similar design, together they provide the highest security and protection. In addition to the security and integrity, American Vault Doors are designed with an emergency ventilator. The ventilator inside is illuminated and requires a simple turn to activate and allow life-saving air from outside the vault to enter.

The Vault Doors include a full-length locking bar which is secured in an unlocked position to prevent accidental lock-in of any person. A special back-up system eliminates the possibility of the locking bar being thrown, unless the door is purposely closed. Vault Doors also contain a built in door contact alarm which provides greater security to your vault.
